ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Bleacher Report is hiring an Associate Designer for our Creative Services & Marketing team who will work cross-functionally to create and execute design-centric needs for various business units. This role will field requests from the sales, experiential, e-comm and marketing teams to deliver consistent visual branding/identity across programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrates taste and understanding in layout, typography and visual hierarchy
  • Executes consistent designs aligned with existing style guides and process
  • Participates in all aspects of design phase from sketches, through final executions

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong design portfolio highlighting layout and typography

About the Role:

Bleacher Report’s Brand Marketing department seeks an intern to assist in its various marketing efforts, included, but not limited to product marketing, content marketing and influencer marketing, as well as support brand efforts relating to experiential and e-commerce initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide Brand Marketing team with up-to-date news and insights from relevant industries (including general marketing, influencer, content and product marketing, sports, digital, e-sports, gaming, entertainment, etc.)
  • Assist with the creation of marketing strategies and decks, as well as campaign agency briefs
  • Research influencers for sales packages, plus B/R brand initiatives
  • Coordinate and book talent travel and accommodations
  • Assist in facilitating talent and vendor payment process
  • Assist in the maintenance and evolution of B/R’s influencer network, including the creation and evolution of recruitment and onboarding materials, monitoring of following, audience, credibility and reputation of Squad members and more
  • Assist in the maintenance and evolution of B/R’s app focused campus ambassador program
  • Help uncover ways to drive social communities within the B/R app, plus increase awareness and use of social features and grow overall app usage
  • Assist in media planning across Bleacher and Turner portfolio for marketing priorities, including gathering all creative assets and specs needed for asset placements
  • Assist in post-campaign internal reporting process, including collecting social screenshots, impressions, etc.
  • Help brainstorm physical and digital branding and design elements for various B/R events and initiatives
  • Research potential artists for in-house art gallery and assist with the curation and maintenance of the gallery
  • Provide on-site support at Steve Nash Showdown event in NYC  

Requirements:

  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Keynote.
  • Understanding of and interest in digital media and sports culture preferred.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and landscape.
  • Must be able to work from Bleacher Report’s NYC headquarters from 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday from June 3rd through August 9th.

About the Role:

As a part of the B/R communications team, you will have a hand in all corporate efforts such as executive & organizational communications; brand reputation and narrative; traditional, digital and social storytelling; event partnerships and sponsorships; messaging across all external owned, digital and social media platforms; media relations; and the overall coordinated communications strategy.


Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day activities to include: lead media monitoring/clippings, reporting/metrics and distribution; event research and editorial calendar development; media/press list management; strategic coordination with brand teams; creation and management of corporate/executive award submissions; project management activities including run of shows, connecting with internal partners on asset development, and event material needs.  

  • Assist with executive communications efforts including writing/updating leadership bios, coordinating executive photography with internal studios team, researching thought leadership prospects such as event/speaking engagements or profile opportunities, and researching & writing briefing documents. 

  • Support staff meetings, events and engagements (lunch & learns, global leadership and/or external press/partner meetings, and other various team initiatives). 

  • Will include daily administrative support including calendar management, meeting/call coordination and expense reports.

Experiential Marketing Intern

About the role:

Experiential Marketing is looking for an intern to come join our team. The intern will be working with all members of the department to execute integrated marketing events as well as assisting in building the Bleacher Report hospitality program. This person will support team members who are working on our summer franchise properties, Steve Nash Foundation Showdown and NBA Summer League, while also helping with any Bleacher Report Internal events that arise. This role is also responsible for overall organization of the team and assisting with departmental administrative tasks.

* This position may require some domestic travel.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with event leads to develop elements of events.
  • Research vendors to utilize for various production needs as they arise.
  • Develop Experiential Marketing vendor list.
  • Order merchandise and premiums prior to events as well as shipping back any excess post event.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and organization of the Experiential Marketing storage closet.
  • Assist on sponsorship activation calls with note taking.  
  • Maintain ticket inventory and handle distribution for various events.
  • Manage event guest lists and rooming lists as necessary.
  • Create and manage event production and onsite schedules.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and able to function in a fast pace environment.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
