Associate Producer (Temp Employee)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Producer to join our Premium content team in writing and producing a weekly live show focused on fantasy football. This will be shot out of BR’s new Caesar’s Palace studio on Sundays.

The producer will be charged with assisting, coordinating, and executing weekly segments focused on audience participation, and working closely with the talent/fantasy expert to bring the best fantasy football advice to BR’s audience. 

This position is anticipated to run from August to December 2019, and is based in Las Vegas.

Major duties and responsibilities

  • Work with talent on segments, structure, rehearsals and content focused on fantasy football 
  • Work to write and coordinate graphics, studio crew, and edit deliverables with BR’s office in NV and NY
  • Work diligently to incorporate audience questions and advice into the live show
  • Support the production manager and senior producer in all roles 
  • Compiling sports and fantasy research
  • Scheduling and coordinating rehearsals
  • Creating content ideas and concepts, including serialized content, comedy and long-form ideas with potential experiential components. 
  • Sources, identifies, and coordinates with vendors regarding casting, props, graphics, and scenic on creative ideas
  • Work hand in hand with show director on live show execution

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 3 years of tv/digital creative experience as a producer, especially in a live setting
  • Football obsessed with a strong knowledge of the world of fantasy sports
  • Experience working with sport and youth-focused brands
  • Strong time management skills, and an ability to self start
  • Immersed in social media culture and fluent in language of the memes of the day
  • Experience with conceiving of video series, writing scripts or beat sheets, and providing feedback on cuts
  • Communicate to department heads any potential obstacles to a project’s timeline, while strategizing solutions with the creative team solutions to make sure schedules are met

Associate Producer / Researcher (Contract Position)

Associate Producer / Researcher (Contract Position)

We are looking for an experienced, Las Vegas-based Associate Producer to join a new BR department opening at Caesars Palace. The B/R x Caesars team will be tasked executing content involving socializing, generalizing and gamifying sports betting culture.

The Associate Producer is responsible for supporting producers from pre-production through post and generally supporting the creative team and production manager. Another key role for the AP will be researching and fact checking game show components and segments for weekly series being created from the new Caesars studio. The AP will also be in the field / studio for shoots, and coordinate across departments to ensure deliverables and materials are being managed properly.

This position is an initial 2 year contract position with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Compiling sports betting research and fact-checking game show components

  • Organizing and tracking projects in pre- and post-production 

  • Taking detailed notes in writers rooms and production meetings

  • Maintaining department-wide documents

  • Scheduling department and cross-departmental meetings

  • Supporting Producers through all aspects of production, including crews, catering, casting, props and talent

  • Acting as an AP and coordinator for field shoots

  • Tracking and managing deliverables in a post-production capacity

About the Role:

The Senior Content Programmer, Community is responsible for creating engaging content and operating B/R’s official accounts in the mobile app. They are in charge of planning app executions around key tentpole events throughout the sports calendar and assist with developing an overarching community strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a global Community and influencer plan for the B/R app

  • Be the voice of the Community and maintain a tight two-way dialogue between all stakeholders. 

  • React to breaking news and roll out official B/R app accounts. 

  • Plan and schedule Community activations, both during live events and out of events

  • Work with analytics to monitor channel engagement and optimize for Community performance

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of directly applicable experience preferred

  • Sports fanatic with a strong understanding of all major sports 

  • Expertise in NBA, NFL, MLB, and WWE a plus

Director [Animated Series] (Temporary)

About the Role/Show:

The Champions is a scripted parody of a reality show that focuses on UEFA’s Champions League. In the series, all 800 of the players and managers participating in the tournament live together in a massive chateau. We incorporate many of the tropes from actual reality shows. What happens on this reality show occurs in parallel to the games of The Champions League, so this is what we imagine they’re doing in their down time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to...

  • Directing sessions with voice actors and noting best takes 
  • Assembling the audio track for each episode 
  • Selecting music tracks and incorporating them into the audio to help direct visual cues 
  • Sound design 
  • Being mindful of pacing and episode time constraints

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced, Head Writer/Producer to join our Premium content team to lead a group of writers/producers around our new content partnership with Caesars. 

The B/R x Caesars creative team will be tasked with writing, creating and executing content involving socializing, generalizing and gamifying sports betting culture. This head writer will lead a small team of other writers/producers to help develop concepts for game shows and live football shows emanating from a state-of-the-art studio being built at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

This team-player is responsible for directing and/or producing top-level productions as well as managing and mentoring junior writer/producers on the team. The Head Writer/producer will also assist the Executive Producer/showrunner in identifying new storytelling trends and elevating content capabilities of the Caesars content team

This position is an initial 2 year contract position with the potential to extend.

  • Work closely with Exec Producer/Showrunner to develop, write, and direct and produce show executions, segments and videos.
  • Oversees day-to-day operations to implement the overall content vision as established by the EP/showrunner

The Social Producer for the Social Moments Real Time team will be responsible for managing the day-to-day coverage of all of the team s real-time content executions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading teams of editors, designers to help shape content to match creative vision

The Social Stories team is looking for an experienced, dedicated NYC-based Associate Producer to create videos for our social channels that cover a variety of sports as well as sports culture. We work in a fast-paced, 24-7 field in a laid-back environment. You'll also be in a role that allows you to work with multiple groups and networks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Pitch, plan and produce multiple videos each week for B/R’s social platforms

  • Research story ideas and find supporting information efficiently

  • Display a knowledge across pop culture, multiple sports and social media platforms

About the Job:

We are looking for a Video Editor to be an integral part of House of Highlights team, specifically focusing on back-end editing for original content projects. Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting the entire video team on story planning, pitch process, and new segments.
  • Graphic and photo organization, edit with Photoshop
  • Performing heavy editing work, compiling notes and doing string outs to guide content through the back end of production.

Additional qualifications we're looking for in you: 

  • Minimum 1 year of Video Production experience
